After several months of waiting we were finally heading to our first briefing! Although we had all met at INTOPS we were looking forward to getting to know each other.
We all travelled to Stockport, to Linnet Clough Campsite, and spent the first evening playing team games! All of the GOLD teams were there (Sri Lanka, Malawi, Guyana, Chile, Armenia, Fiji, Russia and Tanzania) so we got to meet up with friends from INTOPS!We spent the rest of the weekend looking at different things to help us with our trip, assigned team roles and started designing our badge and clothing! To help with our fundraising we pitched a fundraising idea to the Dragon's Den!

We had lots of fun and went away with lots of ideas to keep us going until the first phone conference!
